| Aşağıdaki haber/makale zaman gazetesinin ingilizce versiyonundan kopyala yapıştır yöntemi ile alınmıştır.konusu bilge köyündeki katliamla ilgilidir.buraya alınma sebebi ise diğer tüm ulusal gazetelerde katliamı yapan kişinin verdiği ifade ile aşağıdaki haberin farklılık göstermesidir.farklılık şudur:katliamı yapan kişi öldürğüm fesih çelebi nin karımla ilişkisi var diye bu katliamı yaptım derken,(doğrudur yanlıştır ancak öyle ifade vermiştir ve bu ifade bir haberdir.)aşağıdaki haberde ise katliamın kız yada arazi meselesinden çıktığı söylentisi mevcut şeklindedir,başlıkta her nekadar onurum için yaptım desede aynı kapıya çıkmamaktadır. Eeee... dediğinizi duyar gibi oluyorum ve hemen cevaplıyorum:iyi niyetle bile olsa haberi değiştiremezsin(heleki yabancıları haberdar etme iddasındaysan) yok benim ahlak anlayışıma terstir, yok benim kültürüme uymaz diye bir haberi değiştirirsen yıllardır yalan haberle suçladığın kişilerle aynı kefeye girersin.ne demiş atalarımız :cehennemin yolu iyi niyet taşlarıyla döşelidir.hadi bir de anonim özdeyiş yazarak yorumumuzu bitirelim: neysen o olacaksın. Bilge killers say they did it for ‘honor'
|
The first hearing in the trial of a massacre in Mardin's Bilge village in May in which 44 people were killed, including seven children, during an engagement ceremony was heard yesterday in the city of Çorum, where murder suspects claimed they committed the murders in the name of honor. |

There are 11 suspects, including one minor, being tried. The suspects are currently jailed at the Çorum L-Type High Security Prison. The trial is closed to the media, as stipulated by the law in cases where one or more of the suspects are minors. Speaking to a news agency, Turgut Bayraktar, the presiding judge, said only suspects and plaintiffs would be allowed in the courtroom. The prosecution demands 44 life sentences without parole on 36 counts of “premeditated murder and manslaughter,” seven counts of the murder of children and one count of killing a woman whose pregnancy was obvious for nine of the suspects. The prosecution demands an additional prison term of up to 200 years for “attempted murder” of 10 people, including four children, for the nine suspects. Seventeen years imprisonment is demanded for another of the suspects, in whose house six hand grenades were discovered during the investigation. The indictment states that a separate investigation is ongoing into the minor implicated in the killings. An attack by armed assailants on civilians during an engagement ceremony in Bilge on May 4 resulted in the deaths of 44 people and the injury of two others. Sixteen of the victims were women and seven were children. Three of the women were pregnant. The vicious attack reportedly stemmed from an interfamily dispute over the bride. Some sources, however, have claimed that a land dispute was behind the attack. The attack was one of the worst involving civilians in Turkey's recent history. As all of the males residing in the village are village guards, there were claims that the assailants had used weapons that were given to them by the state to protect their village against terrorist attacks, causing a renewed uproar over the village guard system. |
